We offer many different adult technique classes like oil painting, drawing, and pottery in a warm and welcoming environment.
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Your space will not be confirmed until both your registration and payment have been received!

If you need to cancel your registration, let us know at least 48 hours before the actual class date and you'll be refunded the full amount. Class fees are non-refundable for cancellations less than 48 hours before the class date. Thank you for understanding.
Space is limited and often times we have a waiting list. Please let us know as early as possible if you’re not able to make it, there might be someone else who can!
Watch a demo from our instructor, then try your own hand at throwing 2-4 pieces. If you choose not to keep your pieces, we will recycle the clay. If you choose to keep the pieces, pay $15 at the end of the first class to come back for the glaze session the following week!

Adult Class
Acrylics are a versatile medium that can provide endless possibilities for expressing your creativity. Learn various techniques, color mixing, brush strokes, and composition, all while being guided by an expert instructor. We provide a relaxing atmosphere for you to unwind and get creative.

Students will create a 7x9" painting. Beginners welcome, drawing skills are not required. Attendees are welcome to bring their own paints and brushes, but it isn’t necessary as ACB will be providing all supplies necessary.
Rebecca Vorkapich will be demonstrating each of the paintings in steps showing the wet-on-wet technique for soft edges, wet-on-dry for details, splattering for texture and the use of gouache for fine highlights.

Great class for both beginners and intermediates. Work on both handbuilding and wheel techniques. Students will make individual pieces of their choice such as planters, vases, mugs, etc.

Make a flower pot for mom or bring her along and make one for you too! We will use a mold for the lower portion and coils on the top. Add your own decorations!

Join us for 3 cozy Saturday mornings and learn how to crochet! Pick your starter project: adorable hand towels, a stylish bandana, or charming flower coasters. We've got all the supplies covered, so you can hook, loop, and twirl your way to crafty bliss! Keep the supplies at the end of class so you can continue to create!

Monoprinting with a gelli plate is a simple and inexpensive method of printmaking! The gelli plate is reusable but only makes one print per use. Jessica Kirby will demo first and then the sky’s the limit for your own exploration!

(1 person per enrolled student and only to firing day not the wet clay class)

Sakiori comes from the Japanese words ‘saki’ for rag and ‘oru’ for weaving. It is an old traditional form of weaving to produce sturdy cloth, historically used for work clothing. Today, Sakiori can be appreciated for its ecological impact and for its fun colorful and textured character.

Intrigued about the enchanting world of stained glass? Dive into this fantastic workshop to dip your toes in! Craft your own design using glass chips, adhering them onto a glass panel to fashion a truly distinctive piece of glass artwork. Your creations will undergo firing and will be ready for pick up afterward. You can opt to showcase your masterpiece on a petite acrylic easel or attach wire backing for easy hanging. No prior glass experience necessary—all materials will be supplied.

First session will meet with Jessi at the Art Center to throw some candle forms. Second week we will meet off site at Ryan's house to do a raku fire. Once the work is fired, Ryan will walk everyone through mixing and pouring candles.

Create a slab bowl and alter it into a spiral tray with built -in dipping spot. How to build as well as shape options will be demonstrated. You will have a chance to decorate them with colors by the end of class.

The Dabblers try out various mediums and projects in both the arts and crafts. These two hour sessions are led by group members who have some expertise or experience to share. The goal is not to always finish a specific project but to get exposure to something new and to be with others in art and creativity. This group meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 7-9PM and there is a $5 fee for supplies.
