Raku is known for its rich metallic colors, coppery reds, iridescent blues and greens, and dramatic black and white contrasts, making every finished piece one of a kind. Students will make several pieces during the first two sessions, then glaze their work at the off-site firing facility. On the final day, participate in the firing process and watch the pieces transform through intense heat, smoke, and rapid cooling.

Get in the spirit of Spooky Season with this odd art class! Students will be guided through the process of creating their own oddities cloche just in time for Halloween. A variety of materials will be available for use, including dried flowers, animal bones, bugs and more! The instructor has collected and cleaned ALL organic materials used in this class to ensure participant safety and ethical sourcing.

Learn the skills needed to make your own stained glass window by starting with a small 5"x5" panel, including several patterns to choose from. The first class includes pattern preparation, selecting appropriate glass, and cutting class. During the second class we concentrate on final cutting, grinding to fit the glass pieces into a defined space, and techniques for attaching copper foil. In our last class we solder the panel and attach zinc edging.

Are you a book lover? New to stained glass or looking to brush up on your skills? Then this class is for you! Using the copper foil method, students will be guided through the entire stained glass process in order to learn the tools and techniques necessary to create their very own book sun catcher. No experience necessary. All tools and supplies will be provided.

If you've been seeing those wonderfully puffy '80s and '90s memory books making the rounds on TikTok, this class is for you. We'll create our own fabric-covered memory books. Bring fabric, batting, ruffles, ribbon, trim, or a favorite binder if you have them. We'll also have plenty of supplies to get you started. Make it a scrapbook, recipe book, photo album, baby book, or whatever you dream up.

Learn how to melt and pour candles into these adorable tins. In this 2 hour class, you will have time to make one for yourself and one to give as a gift!! Bring a friend. Space is limited.

Create a beautiful wall pocket. No talent required. We provide lace, natural items etc to embellish your project.

Learn 4 ways of building with clay! First class will cover pinch pot techniques, the second will cover coil building, and the third will cover slab building. Your fourth class will cover throwing on the wheel. In the fifth class, you can choose a final project and decide how you want to build it. During each session your instructor will teach you different finishing techniques, texture options, color options and more! Your last class will cover glazing techniques. This is 100% beginner friendly! You do not need to have any experience to enroll. Please note: there may be a lot of completed work from this class; more work then can be glazed in one 2.5hr session. Open studio times are available to finish glazing any work that was not completed during class.

Create a unique ornament by arranging glass strips into a tree shape and then decorating your tree. During kiln firing the glass pieces melt into a single piece that you pick up at a later date.

Take your wheel throwing skills to the next level and learn how to turn 2- and 3-pound cylinders into functional lidded boxes. For intermediate students who have completed a 6-week pottery class or have equivalent experience.

If you're looking to expand your stained glass knowledge and/or skills, then this class is for you! Students with prior stained glass experience will learn intermediate stained glass techniques while making their own holiday ornament to take home!

PREREQUISITE: Students must have a basic understanding of stained glass tools and techniques AND proof of the successful completion of a beginner-level class in the past FIVE years in order to enroll in this class. If the student is self-taught, proof of recent works may be requested. We require this information in order to ensure that our stained glass classes are both fun and safe for all participants.

What will you put in your snow globe?  Assemble a snow globe by using glass components  to build a scene on a 3" clear glass circle. Once fused the result is a snow globe that can be used as a hanging ornament or placed on a small easel for a table decoration.
