It doesn't matter your level of experience, we promise if you come to art class here you will have a fun time!

We offer many different adult technique classes like oil painting, drawing, and pottery in a warm and welcoming environment.

Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Your space will not be confirmed until both your registration and payment have been received!

Something unexpected come up? Bummer!

If you need to cancel your registration, let us know at least 48 hours before the actual class date and you'll be refunded the full amount. Class fees are non-refundable for cancellations less than 48 hours before the class date. Thank you for understanding.

Space is limited and often times we have a waiting list. Please let us know as early as possible if you’re not able to make it, there might be someone else who can!

Explore our rotating lineup of DIY craft stations, where you'll get hands-on with different art materials, techniques, and inspirations—no two visits are the same! Or you can spend the whole time perfecting one masterpiece.

Try out new crafts, projects, and hobbies without having to buy all the supplies. Plus, it’s a laid-back, fun space to hang with your favorite people, no pressure, just creativity.

Cash bar available, pre-order a charcuterie box to snack on while you relax and create.

Give it a Spin: Wheel Throwing with Jessi Tucci

(Two Part Workshop)

Watch a demo from our instructor, then try your own hand at throwing 2-4 pieces. If you choose not to keep your pieces, we will recycle the clay. If you choose to keep the pieces, pay $15 at the end of the first class to come back for the glaze session the following week!

$35 per person for throwing + $15 extra for glazing and firing (optional)

4 Part Wheel with Jessi Tucci

Vibrant Blooms in Watercolors with Becky Vorkapich

After a brief demonstration of techniques, students can discover the beauty of spring through watercolor using one of their own source photos or a photo provided by Becky. Mug Life: One Mug, Two Nights  with Jessi Tucci 

Thursdays, May 29 //  6-8:30pm AND June 5 // 6-7:30 throwing-trimming-handle / underglazing

This beginner-friendly, two-part class is the perfect intro to working with clay. You'll start by throwing a cozy mug from 1.5 lb of clay—learning how to shape, trim, and add a handle (don’t worry, we’ll guide you every step of the way). In the second session, you’ll decorate your mug with underglaze to make it uniquely yours. Yes, seems crazy but it takes about 2hrs to create just one handmade mug, but it will be your new favorite one to sip from!

Suds & Clay: Make Your Own Soap + Dish w/ Ryan Smith and Jessi Tucci

Sunday, June 1 // 11am-1:30pm

$60 ACB Member or $70 Non-Member PER COUPLE  

Grab your partner in crime or bestie! Get ready for a hands-on, great-smelling creative session! In this collaborative class, you'll spend half your time with Ryan crafting custom-scented soaps, and the other half with Jessi making a handmade soap dish from clay to match. You’ll get to see demos of different dish-making techniques and personalize your own with color and design.

Perfect for couples, friends, or anyone who loves a little DIY self-care! Pieces will be fired and soaps will need to cure, so expect to pick up your finished set in about three weeks.

Raku Experience with Jessi and Ryan

First Session: Sundays, June 29 and July 6 @ ACB 11am-1:30pm, July 13 for firing at Ryan's kiln (rain date july 20) // 11am-4pm

Explore the magic of raku in this three part workshop where fire, clay, and creativity come together. In the first two sessions, you'll handbuild decorative pieces using raku clay, with demos, guidance, and room to bring your own ideas to life. The final session takes place off-site on Mt. Pleasant Street, where you'll get hands-on experience glazing and firing your work using the dramatic raku process. Expect surprises—raku is known for its unpredictable and beautiful finishes. No prior experience needed, just a sense of adventure.

From Hands to Home: Handbuilding a Vase or Mug with Jessi Tucci

Thursdays, July 10 & July 17 //  6 - 8:30pm

In this two-part class, you’ll learn the art of slab building to create your own vase or mug—your choice! The first session covers the basics of working with slabs, with demos to inspire your design. In the second session, you'll return to glaze your piece and bring it to life with color. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to explore a fun and versatile pottery technique.

Make Your Mug (and Pour Over Too!) with Jessi Tucci

Thursdays, Aug 21, 28 & Sept 4 // 6-8:30pm

$65 ACB Member or $75 Non-Member  

Love coffee? Make the mug and pour-over that will make your morning! In this relaxed, beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to hand-build your own ceramic coffee set using pinch, coil, and slab techniques. Whether you’re new to clay or just looking for a creative night out, you’ll create something personal, practical, and made to last. If you’ve used the wheel before, you’re welcome to give it a spin—but no pressure.

On the final night, we’ll glaze everything, then fire your pieces in the kiln. They won’t be ready to take home that evening, but we’ll notify you as soon as they’re finished and ready to enjoy.

Handbuilding Trio: Pinch, Coil, Slab with Jessi Tucci

Thursday, September 11 // 6-8:30pm 

$45 ACB Member or $55 Non-Member    

In this one-session class, you’ll learn how to combine pinch, coil, and slab techniques to handbuild your choice of a mug, bowl, or decorative vase. Your piece will be finished with a clear glaze to highlight the natural beauty of the clay’s warm tan color. Want to take it a step further? For an additional $10, you can join a scheduled glaze session to add your own colors and learn more about the glazing process. No experience needed—just bring your creativity!

The Full Clay Experience: Building Skills with Jessi Tucci

Thursdays, September 18, 25, Oct 2 & 9 // 6-8:30pm

$85 ACB Member or $95 Non-Member    

New to clay? This playful, hands-on class is the perfect way to try it all! Over four weeks, you'll explore both handbuilding and wheel throwing in a relaxed, beginner-friendly setting.

In the first two sessions, you’ll learn basic handbuilding techniques to create bowls, vases, or whatever inspires you—bring a general idea and we’ll help you bring it to life with demos and support along the way. In week three, you’ll get a chance to try the pottery wheel and make two wheel-thrown pieces. On the final night, we’ll glaze everything so it’s ready for the kiln and your future shelf.

No experience needed—just come ready to play with clay and have fun!

The Dabblers try out various mediums and projects in both the arts and crafts. These two hour sessions are led by group members who have some expertise or experience to share. The goal is not to always finish a specific project but to get exposure to something new and to be with others in art and creativity. This group meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 7-9PM and there is a $5 fee for supplies.

This month, we’re exploring the art of paper weaving by combining two magazine photos to create a unique, layered image. Think of weaving a family photo with a scenic vacation landscape—or merging portraits of parents and children for a meaningful and visually engaging result.
