We believe that every child should have the opportunity to explore their love of art, regardless of financial means. If your family needs help paying for an art class, please let us know when you sign up.
Registration
We'd love to have you all, but space is limited...so sign up today!
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Your space isn't confirmed until you have completed our online registration through RegFox. It's easy, just follow the link below the class you want.
The Art Center supplies all art materials for each class unless the instructor asks for something special for a specific class.
If you need to cancel your child's registration, let us know at least 48 hours before the actual class date and you'll be refunded the full amount. Class fees are non-refundable for cancellations less than 48 hours before the class date. Thank you for understanding.
Weather Policy
We follow the lead with the Burlington Community School District for cancellations. Please be sure to keep an eye on BCSD notifications regarding school status if we're experiencing questionable weather. If you have questions, please give us a call at 319.754.8069.
BCSD Late start = no morning class
BCSD Early out = no afternoon classes
BCSD No school = no classes at all
Art Class Parent Pickup Policy
The primary concern of our kids art classes is to ensure the safety and well-being of all students in our care. In order to maintain a safe and secure environment, it is essential that parents or guardians promptly pick up their children at the conclusion of each class. This policy is designed to address the procedure for handling situations when a parent or guardian fails to pick up their child on time.
The art class instructors and staff will maintain supervision of students until the designated pickup time. In the event that a parent or guardian is running late, they should notify ACB as soon as possible by calling 319-754-8069. This allows the staff to be informed of the situation and reassure the child. Our staff will attempt to contact you through your provided phone number. If contact cannot be established with the parent or guardian within a reasonable timeframe, emergency contacts listed during registration will be attempted for notification. If no contact can be made with either the parent or emergency contacts within a reasonable period, local authorities (such as the police) may be notified for assistance.
ACB values the well-being of every child, and we understand that unexpected situations can arise. We ask for the cooperation and understanding of all parents and guardians in adhering to this policy to ensure the safety and welfare of our students.
By enrolling a child in our classes, parents or guardians acknowledge their understanding and agreement with this Parent Pickup Policy. It is essential to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children under our care, and adherence to this policy is vital in achieving that goal.

The 1st Art Hop of 2025 is going to be epic!!!
We will be celebrating WORLD SNOW DAY with the entire WORLD.
Art Hoppers will be creating the largest indoor "Snow Table" in the state of Iowa. No jackets, hats or gloves needed. Our STEAM SNOW is easy for all to make and absolutely a BLAST to use. STEAM SNOW is always just the right temperature for ultimate packing consistency. Plus, all Art Hoppers will take home some STEAM SNOW to continue the magic. After playing in the "SNOW" it is time for the traditional SNOW DAY snack.....hot chocolate & cookies.

Celebrate Mother's Day in a special way with our ceramic hand bowl class for kids in grades K-4! In this creative workshop, young artists will use hand cutouts of their own little hands to craft a unique ceramic bowl, perfect for holding special treasures or treats. This heartfelt project encourages creativity and makes a meaningful gift that moms will cherish forever. Join us for a fun, hands-on experience that shows just how much they care!
