Located in the heart of Downtown Burlington, the Art Center showcases one-of-a-kind artwork of local & regional artists with monthly Gallery exhibits & Artists Market. Children & adult art classes are offered along with unique events throughout the year. The Gallery Lounge offers the finest selection of wine, beer, & live music in a creative environment on the 1st & 3rd Friday of every month.
The Art Center of Burlington was founded in 1966 by a group of artists and friends with the first show at the Unitarian Church and eventually moving to its first home downstairs at the North Hill Medical Center. The very next year in 1967, the organization started the Father's Day tradition of Snake Alley Art Fair. Artists lined the alley with snow fence to hang their artwork for sale. Snake Alley Art Fair will be celebrating its 57th Anniversary on June 16, 2024.
