Art Center of Burlington Fine Arts Scholarship
Coming Fall 2023
Because of the generosity of our patrons and donors, we are proud to announce the Art Center of Burlington Fine Arts Scholarship. Starting in Fall 2023, we will award one recipient a $1000 scholarship to be used towards books, tuition, and supplies for the 2023/2024 academic year.
All incoming SCC freshman, and second year SCC students, who are/planning to register as a Associates of Arts, Fine Arts student are eligible to apply. This scholarship can be used towards tuition, books, & supplies.
Important Dates
- April 1, 2023 (deadline for HS seniors)
- June 1, 2023 (deadline for all incoming and returning students)
- September 1, 2023 (final application deadline)
Mentorships and an Investment in Burlington's Future Artists
Our commitment to creating a supportive environment for local students and artists to gain valuable work experience continues. We provide teaching opportunities and mentorships, empowering emerging creatives to share their skills and knowledge with others. Through these opportunities, students and artists are able to develop their own teaching techniques and approaches, while also gaining valuable insights into the art world and expanding their professional networks. We are proud to play a role in helping these individuals achieve their goals and we will continue to provide mentorship and teaching opportunities to support the growth and development of our community's next generation of artists.
ACB is excited to take our commitment to supporting local students to the next level. We are thrilled to announce that we will be providing scholarship funding for students interested in studying visual art at Southeastern Community College. We believe that by investing in the education of our local students, we are not only helping them to achieve their dreams, but also strengthening the cultural fabric of our community as a whole.
