Corinne Stanley

Artist Reception: February 2 // 5-8pm

Corinne Stanley, an Iowa City-based poet, memoirist, and artist, unveils "Mirrors and Milagros," a dynamic collection of art collages inspired by her time in Mexico. The pieces capture the essence of Mexican culture through mirrors, milagros, and vibrant imagery, with loteria and Spanish playing cards adding a colorful touch. The collection pays homage to the Divine Feminine, including figures like La Virgin de Guadalupe and Frida Kahlo, exploring the intersection of art and the sacred female journey.
